AddThis has released an interesting infographic that demonstrates how people use Twitter, Facebook, and E-mail. Not surprisingly, Facebook continues to lead in the sharing department (44%). Sharing on Gmail and StumbleUpon grow dramatically in the past year.

AddThis is installed on 7 million domains and reaches 1 billion users monthly. While this data analysis is not comprehensive by any means, it does show what areas webmasters need to focus on to take advantage of social media sites and services such as Gmail to grow their business. If you don’t have a Facebook like button on your website, it is time to add it already.
